Starting from humble beginnings as a specialist hardware shop in Germany, we have grown into a leading international business, supplying furniture fittings, architectural hardware, ironmongery and more to the trade.

Over the past century, we have honed our expertise to become a trusted partner to the trade, supplying over 25,000 specialist products – from hinges, handles and door furniture to storage solutions, sliding door systems and lighting. We manufacture and supply a range of our own brands, engineered for quality, style and function, with a lifetime guarantee across our Loox, IxConnect, Slido, Matrix, FREE and StarTec products.
This year, we're launching some fantastic new products, as we always strive to bring cutting edge solutions to our customers. Our Flex Lighting is the most flexible lighting system on the market, developed to bend around tight corners.

Customer service is part of our DNA. Our founder's philosophy was based on personal contact, expert technical knowledge, reliability and requirement-related, fast delivery. And that's what we still pride ourselves on today. Leading the way from our first Häfele exhibition bus in 1966, to creating a Technical Support team nearly three decades ago, we pride ourselves on being there for our customers every step of the way.

Happy 40th birthday Minifix!
Häfele revolutionised the furniture industry when we invented our Minifix, which celebrates its 40th birthday this year. This innovation, launched in 1983, was the start of a completely new generation of connection fittings.
The Minifix allows you to assemble flatpack furniture with mitre joints (90 degree angles), and is completely concealed when installed. This unique connector is a patented design, based on the principle of having a hemispherical head, which is why it holds up so well.
3.2 million Minifix's are produced in our Berlin factory every day – if you stacked the number of Minifix's we produce each day on top of each other, they'd be taller than 100 Shards!

Tailored to meet our customers' needs through our customised service, we can modify any of our standard products so our customers receive finished manufactured or packed goods, ready to install.
Whether our customers are tight on time or resource - or just want to keep things as efficient as possible on site - we can deliver finished goods like assembled LEDs ready to plug in or cabinet packs with all components ready to go.
